Walking the Talk
Most Americans believe that people
need a safe place to live, food, a good education and a chance to earn a fair wage that
supports their families. They believe it’s important to have programs and services
available for people who need help to survive and rebuild their lives.
It takes a very special American with the courage of conviction and integrity to
"walk the talk" by actually INVESTING
time and money to build a better world.
Most wait for the government, big business or the church to do it. The truth is that America wasn’t built by the government or big business or the church. America was built “by the people, for the people” and we are those people.
If America is going to realize the potential for greatness our Country’s founding fathers and mothers intended then we are going to have to invest in the people and organizations that are “working in the trenches” to rebuild the strength of our communities from our own neighborhoods.
The question is – are you the kind of person who is willing to do more than “talk about” change? Are you willing to walk the talk?
